Hawke is a single full time father of 3 sons, retired computer scientist. researcher, part time student at EWU as a recreation and music therapist, founder and facilitator of many diverse communities.
Had a successful career working in computer science and information technology industry, first working with computers in 1979, semi-retired in 2003 to focus on raising family. Also previously worked as 4x ASE certified automotive technician and instructor for the American Automotive Institute. Worked as a professional photographer for 7 model agencies in Utah, some occasional acting in theater, movies, web series, and web movies. As a youth worked worked at mine, lumber jacking, heavy duty construction, and many other labor jobs. Attending school part time working on interdisciplinary degrees in recreation therapy, music, research psychology, and neuroscience. Plan to sit for the NCTRC CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist), and AMTA (American Music Therapy Association) certifications. Currently registered with the Washington State Department of Health as a Recreational Therapist. Designed wheelchair accessible mobile facility, providing volunteer charity services for people with special needs, this means far more than just disabilities, it includes adaptations for different population ages, functional levels, etc.
